19-Year-Old Becomes Youngest Woman To Fly Around The World Solo

A teenage pilot has set a record for being the youngest woman to fly solo around the world. Belgian-British Zara Rutherford spent 155 days in her Shark Aero ultralight before touching down in Kortrijk-Wevelgem in Belgium to complete her round-the-world challenge earlier today.

Why did she go out of her way? She went way way around North America and Asia instead of cutting accross :thinking:

I can do it in sims and stuff. My school has a Redbird SD and I nail landings on it all the time. I just haven’t been allowed to do it irl yet.

hmm, that doesn’t make sense why they wouldn’t let you, landing are something you just need to do in the airplane to really get it down
