The Northern Lights or the aurora borealis is a spectacular natural light show visible to the naked eye in regions close to the Arctic Circle. Something of a bucket list experience, seeing them is regarded as the ultimate in skywatching. But did you know that it is also possible to see the Northern Lights from the window of an aircraft?

Anyways, simpleflying being simpleflying aside, Id love to fly in Icelandairs special livery while also seeing this at the same time. would be very cool

This is still a HUGE mystery. It’s not like if you google “Northern lights from an airplane” there are thousands of results lol.
