Final Lufthansa Airbus A380 Set To Leave Frankfurt Tomorrow

Lufthansa’s last Airbus A380 is set to depart Frankfurt Airport tomorrow morning. The flight will see D-AIMH sent to desert storage in Teruel, Spain. It could well be the last Lufthansa Airbus A380 flight as the airline’s CEO Carsten Spohr has made it clear the aircraft doesn’t fit in the Lufthansa plan.

I don’t really care as I prefer the 747, and it isn’t the end yet

It definitely is…

LH CEO said that the A380 will obviously not be returning…

It’s sad to hear that Lufthansa has decided to move all its A380s to storage, and let’s just hope that some other airlines will keep this iconic superjumbo flying around.

Lufthansa today bid farewell to the giant Airbus A380, possibly for the last time. The last of 14 jets departed Frankfurt. The aircraft left Lufthansa’s stronghold on what is likely its last ever flight at around half-past nine. Lufthansa isn’t expected to return the A380 to service.
