McDonnell Douglas actually had a blended wing aircraft concept which I find quite fascinating. Although they never managed to pursue the project as they merged with Boeing. However, Boeing did look into it which made the X-48 which was a model that flew between 2007 and 2013

I guess so. Personally I’m not a fan of this design. Perhaps its because I don’t like change.
