Thinking about building a PC and how viable it is for my wallet without completely destroying it (welcome to the realities of the Malaysian Ringgit’s purchasing power) but other then that I’m settling for something like this. Odds are I’ll get it somewhere next year but any promotion before that might entice me to do so earlier.

Any and all recommendation for better parts are welcomed!

Nice list. Don’t go Intel tho.

Zen 3 beats it in every way.

Buy a Ryzen 9 5900X and a nice X570 motherboard like the X570-F or X570-E

Yeah, moving to AMD is something I’ve wanted to do, so chances are I may do so for this PC. Everything I’ve had up till now has been Intel powered though. It’s almost force of habit if you could say so.

Yeah I know.

Trust me tho, Zen 3 is great and I love my Zen 2 CPU

Good man. AMD is much better than Intel imo. (Granted, that might be a bit biased because I use amd.)

I have a ROG G14 gaming laptop with:

  • Ryzen 7
  • GTX 1650
  • 16 GB RAM

It’s not the best setup but it’s got everything I need, FS2020 on high spec :joy:

My little PC isn’t much better. I built it on a budget so I got the most bang for my buck.

gonna grab a 5600x or 5800x in the next week for my birthday. Surprisingly, Canada Computers still reports 5800Xs in stock

edit: sad, only in BC. Anyone wanna move to BC with me?

Laughs at my empty wallet

Bruh you’ll need to switch your entire platform.

Don’t upgrade from a 5.1 GHz 9900K lol, the perf won’t be much different if better at all, because reviews that had the boosting limit disabled showed AMD mostly tying Intel (like HUB)
