Norway’s Green Party Wants To Cap Each Person’s Flights

The increasingly popular Green Party of Norway is targeting air travel as part of its goal to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 95% by 2035. Set to substantially increase its seats in the Norwegian parliament in the upcoming September elections, the party is calling for domestic routes to be replaced by trains and for the introduction of individual flight quotas.

This is one of the stupidest ideas I have ever heard.

Their influence is too powerful though, and considering France has already done this, I’m afraid it’ll be the same for Norway.

Are they even taking into account handicap citizens? If someone who is handicap is flying in on a connection, why tf would you go out of their way to make them go out of the airport and travel to a train station. Dumb, inconsiderate, and uneducated.

As always everyone wants to make everything so ‘green’ and eco they forget to plan and think things through properly.
